Spike from Buffy for Sideshow Collectibles.

This is for the upcoming Spike maquette statue. I was just hired to do the head...

I grew up at a time when Buffy was just hitting airwaves, so I have a lot of fond memories of watching that show. This character was one of my favs, no doubt....back when he was a villian, anyway. hah

sculpted in wax, 1:5 scale.

OMG! Spike!
Again, spot on! instant recognition!
I loved him, especially when he was badass. Lateron, as he came good there were some fun moments, especially when his reactions were, you know, Spike-esque. But making him pure good in the end was simply annoying. I just watched "Restless" last week and I love the scene of Giles Nightmare where he meets Spike with this weird photo-shooting. I cant express how much I loved (the early) Buffy Series, you made my day with these sculpts :)
