Sculpted for Sideshow collectibles ([link]) This was one figure in a 1/9th scale diorama piece featuring the duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan from the Star Wars prequels. Designed by the Gore Group([link])

Sculpted in wax/ approx 5 inches tall. the lightsaber handle was provided for me by Sideshow, and the base was sculpted by another studio

enjoy! I haven't got a whole lot I can share, so I'm just uploading shots of this diorama. painted shots can be found here: [link]

I'm only responsible for some of the Sideshow headsculpts and various other little things. One of many sculptors and artists that get to work with them, and I'm very pleased to have the opportunity.

As for what clays we use. It sort of depends on preference. Some guys use Super Sculpey, and some use wax. It also depends on the size of the piece. Oil clay or Plastilina is better suited for larger work.Whatever gets the job done! :)

thanks!

Wax sounds beyond daunting hehe. Terrifying actually. The fabric work here is unreal. All the little touches put into the robes and boots take this piece to another level.

I especially love the details of the boots they're wearing. Mind blowing!
