This sculpture was very difficult for me. Capturing a man in drag is much more challenging than expected, although Ru is very elegant, (and impossibly tall).
This piece was definitely the result of a lot of collaboration (as they all are) the flags and base were made beautifully by Matthew Black. The man who deserves some sort of medal is David Fisher, who painted SO many of these pieces to look identical for the TV show....the pains he went to were incredible.
