Michael J Fox by TrevorGrove Michael J Fox by TrevorGrove
Hey folks!
Something new. This is a personal project I've had going on for the better part of this year. Just something I've been dying to do, but haven't had the free time to finish... until now!

MJF is one tough guy to capture. I hope I did him some justice. This is sculpted 1:6 scale in wax.

Christopher Lloyd will be following at some point, though he's still in development.

Thanks for looking!
Trev

Well as difficult as you say this was you've nailed him. Although I would say he looks a little older than BTTF MJF and closer to Frighteners MJF but not as old as Spin City MJF....but then he has aged weirdly.
Great likeness all the same

Yeah, you're right. I kept losing the likeness when I tried to make him look age appropriate to BTTF. It's nice to hear it's sort of an amalgam of different periods. :)
Thanks very much!

I know what its like when you're sculpting away and you can see the likeness slip away from you...its then you figure out whats making the likeness in the first place and then make it an even better likeness than the original.

ITs a great job, can't wait to see your version of Doc Brown

His facial expressions spot on, as usual, as is his mouth and hair :)

Could this possibly be some kind of BTTF piece? hmmmm ;) Looks fantastic. I imagine his puffy 80's ski-vest will be quite a pain! I'm very excited for this project.

BTTF? I'm not sure what that is....this is a Spin City Michael J Fox.
:D I kid, I kid.
I've been wanting to sculpt these portraits ever since I got the Blu-Rays, but it's taken all year to get time to do them properly.
Thanks very much!
