The Clint head sculpt is superb and without doubt the best one I have seen at 1:6 if not ever!
Are they obtainable from you Trevor? I have seen one on Ebay as part of a custom figure...which I am trying to put together. The clothes are available but a top notch head sculpt is hard to find and infact others just look like troubled guys in ponchos next to yours!!
If fully painted examples are not available, I could finish as I am an Illustrator/modelmaker.
I'm not sure if you did it for a client or if you can sell a cast from it but I hope you can help.
Thank you kindly. I appreciate it....it's a hard process to do the realism, and it gets harder each year, because collectors want it better and better....it's hard to please anyone, as they're all critics. But it can be fun as well. Eastwood was particularly challenging....I'd like to sculpt him older some day.
What is important to realize is that it was not as good as you thought it was to begin with. That feeling of things slipping away is actually the necessary growing pains...the piece will be much better, but it feels like you're losing it.
Just keep pushing. It's not easy. If you are in a particularly tight spot, I recommend looking for more reference pictures of your subject....just getting some fresh reference helps me sometimes.
