This was a piece of work I did for Trent [link] as a gift on Xmas.

Although I'd rather let the work speak for itself, I will tell you that it was a very vivid...very emotion-filled environment I was transported to during a music experience.

The artwork was created in acrylics. the background was completely rendered first, with some modeling paste textures before I busted out the acrylic, and then I designed and drew the figures onto stonehenge colored pencil paper, and cut them out with an exacto knife, then applied with some spray glue.

If you guys react well to this, I may try and start up a DA prints account...I'm sorry I can't sell my movie related work...

thanks for viewing it, and I hope you can sort out whatever feelings you get from it.

Daily Deviation

Given 2004-02-07
A riot of emotion and beauty, Atrophy in Silence by ~trev-solo is a thought provoking piece, illustrated with deep flowing tones, and rich texture. It's not very often that we see a deviation using so many different mediums, in such perfect harmony. ( Suggested by `shaymacmorran and Featured by `ZirTuan )

Hey man, I was wondering...what size did you use for this piece? Does the work itself dictate the final size or is there something else?

Ever the admirer,

this'n was 18" by 24"....At the time that seemed a grand scale to work in. :) For me, I decide on a size when I start my preliminaries. If it's something that'll have some sensitive details, I always do it a little larger.

speaking of sizes, I've been dying to make myself a 4' X 5' or so canvas to do some painting on. I'm really more drawn to larger works these days, when it comes to paintings.

Thanks for the comments, Chris...with any luck Raster will release soon and I can post pics of my new sculpture here....haven't been a part of this community in ages it seems
